MTU Maintenance signs USD440 million contract with Brazilian carrier GOL
Hanover, Germany, 31 January 2013 – MTU Maintenance, the world’s leading independent maintenance provider, is proud to announce that it has signed a new contract with the Brazilian carrier GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes for engine overhaul and on-wing support services of its CFMI CFM56-7B engines. The exclusive contract has a duration of five years and is valued at 440 million US dollars. This long-term maintenance contract with GOL is a major milestone for MTU Maintenance and a sign that we are strengthening our activities in the emerging markets.”

The company also operates Gollog, a logistics service which retrieves and delivers cargo and packages to and from more than 3,500 cities in Brazil and eight abroad.
