PW200: Power for the Airbus Helicopters H135

Pratt & Whitney Canada's PW200 powers light-to-medium weight helicopters. It is characterized amongst other things by its simple and robust design featuring a centrifugal compressor, a reverse-flow combustor and a single-stage turbine. The engine boasts a full authority digital engine control unit.
 

MTU's involvement in the PW200

Maintenance is carried out via MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg within the Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Center - a joint venture between MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg and Pratt & Whitney Canada.
