Julian, first an intern in the area of structural mechanics for turbine blades and now a student writing his master’s thesis with us

“During my internship at MTU, I got to know an innovative and multifaceted company in a highly sophisticated and complex field of technology.

This gave me the chance to apply the theoretical content of my studies of aerospace engineering and take them further and explore other thematic fields as well.

My internship was a really valuable addition for me, since I learned a lot and got to have new experiences, which brought me a big step closer to my future career goals. I was already interested in writing my final project in cooperation with MTU while I was doing my internship. When I asked about it, potential departments and topics were discussed with me and then feelers were put out to see what would be a good fit. After initial talks, we agreed on a topic that would add value for MTU while also being really interesting to me.

Now I have the chance to get to know a new department and familiarize myself with additional subjects.”
