At MTU, what we mean by Future Work is a balanced mix of working from anywhere and coming in to the office, contributing to good work-life balance and an ideal work environment. We don't follow rigid rules about which days people have to work from where. Instead, everything is defined by what the job or individual activity requires. Time worked in and out of the office is planned jointly within the team. (This does not apply to production, where employees do have to work on-site.)
For a good atmosphere and effective work in the workplace, we design work environments featuring multi spaces and desk sharing opportunities at our MTU locations. They offer space for peace and quiet and for dialogue alike, helping to make sure everyone is happy to come in to the office. We also view commuting as a place where we can be good corporate citizens and literally show our employees new paths. With this in mind, we are already at work today on developing various concepts revolving around mobility with an eye to a sustainable tomorrow.
