In 2014, MTU Aero Engines Polska took patronage over the Technical School in Leżajsk. Since then, our cooperation has been constantly developing.
Cooperation of our HR specialists with the youth
Learning soft skills is valuable and helpful for everyone, including technical school students. That's why every year, during Entrepreneurship Week, we help students acquire these important skills. During the workshops, we discuss the importance of interpersonal skills in the process of education, job search or subsequent professional career, and we also try to prepare them to work in an environment where group and project work is very important.
Themed visits
The opportunity to see in practice what you learn about during classes is very important in the educational process. Therefore, we often host groups of students for the so-called themed visits, during which students under supervision of our employee can enter the production hall and observe the process they’ve learned about at school.
Workshops for students
Another joint activity that our company undertakes together with ZST Leżajsk are workshops, which are a more extensive form of cooperation. During the meeting, which lasts several hours, students have the opportunity to learn about many topics and meet our employees who present and explain students the issues that are interesting for them to.
Open lectures
From time to time, our employees become teachers and visit the ZST school to give a lecture. They explain what their day-to-day work is like and go step-by-step through the most important aspects of the topic they have prepared for the students. We hope that our actions will support the new generations' passion for aviation and that in a few years our actions will have a positive result, i.e. well-prepared candidates for work in the aviation industry.
