PT6A: Power for the turboprop

The PT6A is an exceptionally light-weight turboshaft engine. It is used among others on business aircraft. Special versions of the engine also power transportation and military aircraft.
 

MTU's involvement in the PT6A

Maintenance is carried out via the Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Centre - a joint venture between MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg and Pratt & Whitney Canada.
